Beyond the Books
Oriental focuses on personal growth and grooming of its students by engaging them in regular counselling sessions, sports activities and various district and provincial level competitions. Our students are taught to respect the environment, maintain a healthy lifestyle and trained for various extra-curricular activities. We believe in human development and our students are representatives of that everywhere around the world.
Curriculum
School Sections
Oriental operates in 5 different sections with Girls and Boys segregated from Class 1 onwards. We follow a hybrid curriculum from different publishing houses including Oxford University Press, Afaq and Khyber PukhtoonKhwa Textbook Board.
Pre-Primary Section
More focus is built upon personality development and interactive activities to boost child’s self confidence.
Primary Section
Most of the curriculum for Primary Section is from Oxford to bring the child up-to pace with the modern world.
Middle Section
A mix of Oxford and Afaq is taught to help children gain both domestic and international insight.
Secondary Section
At the Secondary level, Oxford and Afaq are taught till 8th Grade. For Matric KP Textbook Board is followed.
Extra Curricular Programs
Along with nourishing the Child’s mind, OPS focuses on nourishing a child’s Physical and Social health as well. Sports and Social events are planned throughout the calendar year where students participate, compete and hone their skills for a better tomorrow.
Art and Painting
Students are trained to follow their dreams while pursuing education at Oriental and bring out the Artist in them.
Sports Competitions
Every year, Oriental competes at District and Provincial level while also organising internal Sports Days.
Husn-e-Qirat
Our Islamiat Teachers are graduates of Wifaq ul Madaris and are always striving to develop Students’ Quran Recitation.
Library
A full fledged Library is in place which is open to all Students and a period is dedicated to reading in library.
